Meet Your Sarasota Pet Acupuncturists - Dr. Ashley McNamee
Dr. Ashley McNamee grew up in Detroit but moved to Sarasota to attend Ringling Art School, but decided on veterinary medicine as a career path after working in an animal clinic. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and started at Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital in 2017 and then studied at the Chi Institute for pet acupuncture and is receiving her Certified Veterinary Acupuncture license. Dr. McNamee is also a guinea pig enthusiast and loves rabbits and cares for pocket pets, exotic pets, along with dogs and cats.
Dr. McNamee lives in Sarasota with her fiancee, a doctor of Chinese Medicine & acupuncture, and has 2 Siamese cats at home plus outdoor cats that adopted her!
