About Us

Dr. Nina’s Animal Hospital has been opened since October of 2007. Dr. Wilhelm built the original veterinary building 45+ years ago. In 1987, that building was torn down and the current clinic was built. The hospital was completely renovated inside and out in the fall of 2007  has a new and exciting look and feel. The building was outfitted in the latest in medical technology to allow for the highest level of medical care. Please come and take a tour of our beautiful hospital.
 

Dr. Janina Krajewski, DVM

Dr. Nina (Morusiewicz) Krajewski was born in Sarasota, Florida. She attended the local schools and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School. Dr. Nina then attended Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was also part of the Barry University NCAA Volleyball National Champion Team. She was then accepted into the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine and graduated top 10% of her 2002 class. Dr. Nina spent the first several years at Shaffer Animal Hospital in Oviedo, Florida since graduating as well as the 3 location of Veterinary Emergency Clinic’s in the greater Orlando area.

Dr. Nina and her family are excited about the move back to the Sarasota area. She is happy to be home again, making new memories with her husband Mike, son Daniel, dog Troy, and her two cats Chaia and Elsa.

 

Mike Krajewski, Practice Manager

Mike Krajewski is the practice manager at Dr. Nina’s Animal Hospital. Mike handles all aspects of Marketing, Financials, Operations and HR. Mike’s formal education derives from Stetson University in Political Science and Embry Riddle University in Aeronautical Science/Engineering. Mike is a commercial pilot but since 9/11 only flies for pleasure. His most recent positions were VP of Operations and Project Manager for a national software corporation as well as VP of Marketing for an International FOREX Exchange Broker. 

Mike current holds two positions, Practice Manager for Dr. Nina’s Animal Hospital as well as CEO of Vet Business www.newvetbusiness.com which is a consulting firm that focuses on all aspects of business development for new and excising veterinary practices.

Dr. Nina’s Animal Hospital staff is friendly, helpful, caring and experienced. Our technicians have combined experience of over 30+ years. Our certified technician is a graduate of the St. Petersburg Veterinary Technician program. Technicians are comparable to nurses in the human medical field. They are very knowledgeable on different medical areas or products and would love to help answer any questions.

To better assist some of our clients, we now offer assistance in both English and Spanish. Both our Technicians and Receptionist speak fluently in Spanish upon request.
