Amazing people who treat both the animals and the owners with the utmost kindness and courtesy. My family can never thank Dr Nina's Animal Hospital enough.

We are delighted to welcome you to the official website for Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital. Under the leadership of veterinarian (and Sarasota, Florida native) Dr. Nina Krajewksi, our experienced team is happy to serve the veterinary needs of Sarasota pets and the owners who love them. We are conveniently located at 2959 Fruitville Road, where we offer a wide range of veterinary services, from vaccinations and pet dental care to emergency surgery, providing an extremely high standard of care at extremely competitive prices.
Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital strives to serve as a "one-stop shop" for all your beloved companion's veterinary needs. One of the most important of these services, in our opinion, is preventative wellness care -- because it's always better to nip an illness in the bud than to have to treat a major problem later on.
Our veterinarian performs regular wellness examinations to detect any issues with your pet's health in the earliest possible stages. Vaccinations are administered that can protect animals against deadly diseases from their first weeks of life, with periodic booster shots given as needed. We also provide pest and parasite prevention, nutritional counseling and other preventative care. Even spaying and neutering is recommended as a preventative measure for its ability to protect your pet against reproductive cancers and dangerous heat-related misbehaviors.
Pet dental care can be considered preventative, too, and we recommend yearly pet dental exams for most healthy adult animals. We can check for oral cancer, gum disease, and other problems while also performing dental cleanings under anesthesia to reduce tartar buildup, a factor in bacterial infiltration and infections. If your pet develops a dental or oral disease, we can perform the appropriate treatment.
No matter how carefully you watch your pet, veterinary emergencies can and do happen. When it does, Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital is ready to respond quickly and effectively. Our on-site blood analysis, digital radiographs and other state-of-the-art emergency critical care resources enable us to stabilize trauma patients and pinpoint the problem right away. We then administer emergency treatments, including surgery if necessary, to help your pet survive and recover from his crisis.
Pets develop different needs at different times in their lives. Puppies and kittens, for examples, have different dietary and preventative wellness needs than adult dogs or cats. Some pets are prone to chronic ailments such as hip dysplasia or internal organ problems, and we can monitor such conditions carefully throughout your pet's life. Senior animals may need more frequent wellness exams and pet dental care. We even offer pet boarding to safeguard your pet while you're away, and grooming services to promote his cleanliness and health.

At Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.
